Description

The Dell 470-AAVJ is a 3 metre 10GbE SFP+ to SFP+ direct attach cable (DAC) built on passive copper twinax. It provides a low-power, cost-effective alternative to optical transceivers and fibre assemblies for short interconnects between servers, switches and storage in the rack or adjacent racks.

The hot pluggable SFP+ connectors on both ends allow simple installation and replacement without powering down equipment. Low crosstalk and strong bit error rate performance suit 10 Gigabit Ethernet links in data centre and server room environments, with compatibility across a range of Dell PowerEdge, PowerVault and Precision systems.
