Description

The MGate MB3270I-IEX is a 2-port Modbus TCP/RTU/ASCII gateway that converts between Ethernet and serial Modbus networks. It offers 2 kV serial isolation, IECEx certification for hazardous locations and a 0 to 60°C operating range, making it well suited to industrial automation, process control and plant-floor integration.

The gateway provides two software-selectable RS-232/422/485 serial ports on DB9 connectors and two 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 Ethernet ports with built-in cascading. It supports up to 32 client and 32 server connections, runs from 12 to 48 VDC and mounts on a DIN rail, with ATEX and Class I Division 2 approvals also listed.
