Description

The MGate MB3170I-T-IEX is a 1-port Modbus TCP to serial gateway that converts between Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU/ASCII, connecting serial field devices to Ethernet networks. It offers an isolated RS-232/422/485 serial port, a wide -40 to 75C operating temperature range and IECEx/ATEX Zone 2 certification, making it suited to industrial automation, energy and hazardous-location deployments.

Two 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 Ethernet ports and dual redundant 12-48 VDC power inputs support dependable operation, while DIN-rail mounting and an IP30 rating suit control cabinet installation. Modbus master and slave modes allow flexible integration with SCADA systems, PLCs and serial devices.
