Description

The Moxa RM-G4000-2SSC4TX is a Fast Ethernet interface module for the Moxa RM-G4000 modular rackmount Layer 3 managed switch series. It provides 2 single-mode 100BaseFX ports with SC connectors for long-reach fibre uplinks, plus 4 10/100BaseT(X) copper ports for local device connections.

The hot-swappable module design lets you add or change port types without replacing the switch chassis, making it well suited to industrial and substation networks that need a mix of fibre and copper connectivity. Single-mode fibre links should be fitted with an attenuator where required to avoid damage from excessive optical power.
