Description

The Moxa NPort S9650I-8F-2HV-MSC-T is a 19-inch rackmount rugged serial device server with 8 RS-232/422/485 serial ports on multi-mode ST fibre connectors. A built-in Ethernet switch adds 2 x 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports and 2 x 100BaseFX multi-mode SC fibre ports, making it well suited to power substations and other electrically noisy industrial sites. It runs on 110/220 VAC/VDC dual power inputs and operates from -40 to 85°C.

Hardware-based IEEE 1588v2 PTP and IRIG-B time management, Turbo Ring v1/v2, Turbo Chain and RSTP redundancy, and Modbus and DNP3 operation modes support demanding utility and automation networks. Security features include HTTPS/SSL, SSH, RADIUS and TACACS+, and the unit is compliant with IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613. Windows Real COM, Linux Real TTY, fixed TTY and Android API drivers are supported.
