Description

The Moxa NPort S9650I-8B-2HV-IRIG-T is a rugged 19-inch rackmount serial device server with 8 RS-232/422/485 serial ports and IRIG-B time signal output, built for power substation and utility deployments. This HV model accepts 100 to 240 VAC or 100 to 250 VDC on dual power inputs, and includes the IRIG-B BNC module with an operating range of -40 to 85°C.

Two 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet ports with hardware-based IEEE 1588v2 PTP support provide precise time synchronisation alongside the IRIG-B outputs. Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain and RSTP redundancy, Modbus TCP and DNP3 protocol support, and IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 compliance make it suited to mission-critical substation automation networks.
