Description

The Moxa NPort S9650I-16F-2HV-SSC-T is a 16-port RS-232/422/485 rugged serial device server built for power substation and industrial automation networks. The serial ports use multi-mode ST fibre connectors for long-distance, noise-immune connectivity, and the unit includes a 2-port single-mode SC fibre Ethernet module alongside two 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet ports with IEEE 1588v2 support. It operates from -40 to 85°C and accepts 88-300 VDC or 85-264 VAC power.

Operation modes include Real COM, RFC2217, TCP Client, TCP Server, UDP, Modbus, DNP3 and DNP3 Raw Socket. Redundant Ethernet through Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain and RSTP, dual power inputs and secure management over HTTPS/SSL, SSH, RADIUS and TACACS+ make it suited to mission-critical serial-to-Ethernet deployments in 19-inch racks.
