Description

The NPort S9650I-16B-2HV-IRIG-T is a 16-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server with an integrated managed Ethernet switch, built for power substation environments. It provides an IRIG-B BNC module with IRIG-B signal output on the serial ports, 2 x 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports with IEEE 1588v2 support, and an extended -40 to 85°C operating range. This high-voltage model accepts 88 to 300 VDC or 85 to 264 VAC power input.

It is compliant with IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 and supports the IEC 61850 MMS protocol, Modbus and DNP3 gateway operation, and Real COM and TTY drivers for Windows and Linux. Ethernet redundancy with Turbo Ring/Chain and RSTP/STP, security features based on IEC 62443 and NERC CIP, and a galvanised steel housing with high surge protection and EMI resistance suit it to critical utility and energy networks.
