Description

The Moxa NPort 5450AI-M12-T is a 4-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server that connects serial devices to an Ethernet network through M12 connectors. Built for rolling stock and railway use under EN 50155, it runs from a 12 to 48 VDC supply and operates across a wide -40 to 75°C temperature range. This variant does not include PCB conformal coating.

Each DB9 serial port is software-selectable between RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485, and the unit includes Windows Real COM, Linux Real TTY, Fixed TTY and Android API drivers for flexible integration. A built-in watchdog timer, buzzer and real-time clock support dependable unattended operation in vibration-prone environments.
