Description

The Moxa NPort 5450AI-M12 is a 4-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server that connects serial devices to Ethernet through an M12 10/100BaseT(X) network port and an M12 power input. This standard temperature model operates from -25 to 55°C with no conformal coating, making it well suited to rolling stock and other harsh, vibration-prone environments where reliable industrial connectivity is essential.

Each DB9 male serial port supports RS-232, RS-422, RS-485 2-wire and RS-485 4-wire modes. Windows Real COM and Linux Real TTY drivers, plus fixed TTY drivers, make integration into existing SCADA, control and monitoring systems straightforward. A built-in watchdog timer, buzzer and real-time clock support dependable unattended operation.
