Description

The Moxa NPort 5250AI-M12-CT is a 2-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server with M12 connectors for both Ethernet and power, designed for rolling stock and railway deployments. This CT variant adds PCB conformal coating and operates across a -25 to 55°C temperature range, protecting the electronics in harsh, vibration-prone environments.

The unit connects serial devices to a 10/100BaseT(X) network through an M12 Ethernet port and accepts 12 to 48 VDC via an M12 A-coded 5-pin power connector. It complies with EN 50121-4 and, on 24/48 VDC, EN 50155, and includes a built-in watchdog timer, buzzer and real-time clock. Drivers are available for Windows, Linux and macOS, and setup is handled through a simple 3-step web-based configuration.
