Description

The Moxa MiiNePort E3-H is a compact embedded serial-to-Ethernet device server module for adding network connectivity to TTL serial devices. It supplies a pin header interface, a single TTL serial port with a 50 bps to 921.6 kbps baudrate, and a 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 port with IEEE 802.3af PoE pass-through. This module-only version (no evaluation board) is rated for 0 to 55°C operation and runs from a 3.3 to 5 VDC input.

Built on a second-generation MiiNe SoC with a 32-bit Arm core, 2 MB Flash and 4 MB SDRAM, the E3-H supports Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, RFC2217 and Ethernet Modem operation modes. MiiNePort NetEZ technology (EZPower, EZPage, SCM and AutoCFG) simplifies integration, while Windows Real COM, Linux Real TTY, fixed TTY and Android API support covers a wide range of host environments. Four software-configurable DIO channels and a 12 g footprint make it well suited to space-constrained OEM designs.
