Description

The Moxa MiiNePort E3 is an embedded serial-to-Ethernet device server module that adds network connectivity to TTL serial devices. This pin header module with on-board RJ45 connector provides a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet interface and supports serial baud rates from 50 bps to 230.4 kbps, making it well suited to OEM integration of legacy serial equipment onto IP networks over a 0 to 55°C operating range.

Built around a low-power 32-bit Arm core with Moxa's own UART technology, the MiiNePort E3 supports Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, RFC2217 and Ethernet Modem operation modes. Its compact 35 x 52.5 x 18 mm footprint and 3.3 to 5 VDC input make it easy to embed into space-constrained designs, and an Android API is available for Android 3.1.x and later.
