Description

The MGate MB3270I-T-IEX is a 2-port isolated Modbus gateway that converts between Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU/ASCII, connecting serial devices to Ethernet networks. It offers two software-selectable RS-232/422/485 serial ports with 2 kV isolation, a -40 to 75°C operating range and IECEx certification for hazardous locations, making it well suited to harsh industrial and process environments.

The gateway connects up to 32 Modbus TCP servers and accepts connections from up to 32 Modbus TCP clients, with Auto Device Routing, routing by TCP port or IP address, and built-in Ethernet cascading for simple wiring. Redundant 12 to 48 VDC power inputs and a relay output support dependable operation, and the compact IP30 DIN-rail housing fits standard control cabinets.
