Description

The Moxa ioLogik R1210 is a compact remote I/O module with 16 digital input channels and dual RS-485 ports, suited to cost-effective remote process control over Modbus RTU. This 16 DI standard temperature model operates from -10 to 75 C and accepts dry contact or wet contact (NPN or PNP) sensors on screw-fastened Euroblock terminals.

Each digital input can run in DI or event counter mode at up to 2.5 kHz, with 3 kVDC or 2 kVrms isolation. The module runs from 12 to 48 VDC and mounts on a DIN rail or a wall. Configuration and firmware upgrades are available over USB, and firmware can also be updated through an RS-485 connection using the free ioSearch software.

Features

- Dual RS-485 remote I/O with built-in repeater
- Dual RS-485 ports allow wiring and computer redundancy
- Supports the installation of multidrop communications parameters
