Description

The Moxa ioLogik E2242-T is a universal remote I/O controller with Click&Go control logic, combining 4 analog inputs and 12 software-configurable DIO channels in a wide temperature design rated for -40 to 75°C. It connects over a 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet port and an RS-485 serial port, making it well suited to distributed monitoring and control in harsh industrial environments.

The analog inputs offer 16-bit resolution with selectable voltage and current ranges, and the DIO channels operate as sink outputs or pulse outputs. Modbus TCP Server and Modbus RTU Master support, SNMPv1/v2c/v3 and Moxa AOPC active tag messaging let it integrate with SCADA and IIoT systems, while ioAdmin and web console configuration simplify commissioning. Power is supplied at 12 to 36 VDC, with DIN-rail or wall mounting.

Features

- Click&Go control logic with active monitoring technology
- Supports a versatile set of OT/IT protocols for IIoT applications
- Active tag (Moxa AOPC) report-by-exception messaging
- Configurable via ioAdmin utility or web console
- Wide operating temperature range of -40 to 75°C
- Real-time clock with battery backup and SNTP time management
- Built-in over-current, over-temperature and over-voltage protection on DIO channels
