FAQs

Q: How many I/O channels does the ioLogik E1212 provide?
A: It provides 8 dedicated digital inputs and 8 digital I/O channels that are configured as inputs or outputs by jumper.

Q: Which industrial protocols does the ioLogik E1212 support?
A: It supports Modbus TCP Server (Slave), EtherNet/IP Adapter and Moxa AOPC, plus RESTful API and SNMPv1/v2c for management.

Q: Can the ioLogik E1212 be daisy-chained?
A: Yes. The two 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports are switched, so units can be linked in a daisy-chain topology without an external switch.

Q: What power supply does it require?
A: It runs from a single 12 to 36 VDC input via a screw-fastened Euroblock terminal and draws 130 mA at 24 VDC.

Q: What digital input sensor types are supported?
A: The digital inputs accept dry contact and wet contact (NPN or PNP) sensors, and can operate as standard DI or as an event counter up to 250 Hz.

Q: How is the ioLogik E1212 configured and mounted?
A: Configuration is done through the web console, the ioSearch Windows utility or the MCC Tool. The unit mounts on a DIN-rail or directly on a wall.
