Description

The Moxa CP-602E-I w/o Cable is a 2-port CAN Bus PCI Express board for industrial PCs and servers that need reliable CAN network connectivity. It provides two independent CAN ports with DB9 male connectors, support for CAN 2.0A and CAN 2.0B, transfer rates up to 1 Mbps and 2 kV electrical isolation. This standard-temperature model operates from 0 to 55°C and ships without a cable.

Built around the NXP SJA1000 CAN controller and PCA82C251 transceiver, the board includes transmit and receive LEDs on each port and an optional 120-ohm terminal resistor for the CAN bus network. A Windows driver, DLL library and examples are provided to speed up application development. For installations needing a wider temperature range, the CP-602E-I-T variant covers -40 to 85°C.
