Description

The Moxa MGate EIP3170I is a 1-port EtherNet/IP-to-DF1 protocol gateway that connects Allen-Bradley and Rockwell PLCs with legacy DF1 serial devices on an EtherNet/IP network. This model provides 2 kV serial isolation and a standard 0 to 60°C operating temperature range, making it well suited to control cabinets and indoor industrial installations.

The gateway supports PCCC objects for Rockwell Automation networks and handles up to 8 simultaneous EtherNet/IP client/server pairs with up to 16 queued requests. Dual 10/100 Ethernet ports with built-in cascading simplify wiring, while redundant 12 to 48 VDC power inputs, a serial redirector and a built-in traffic monitor support reliable deployment and troubleshooting.
