Description

The Moxa MGate EIP3170-T is a 1-port EtherNet/IP to DF1 protocol gateway that lets Rockwell and Allen-Bradley DF1 serial devices connect to EtherNet/IP networks. This wide temperature model operates from -40 to 75°C and uses a non-isolated serial port, making it suited to harsh industrial cabinets and field installations.

The gateway provides one DF1 serial port (RS-232 on a DB9 male connector, RS-422/485 on a terminal block), two 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet ports and redundant dual 12 to 48 VDC power inputs. It supports PCCC objects, up to 8 simultaneous EtherNet/IP client and server pairs, and includes traffic monitoring tools for faster troubleshooting in an IP30 housing.
