Description

The Moxa MGate 5134 is a 1-port Modbus RTU/ASCII/TCP to PROFINET protocol gateway for industrial networks, rated for -10 to 60°C standard temperature operation. It acts as a Modbus client (master) to collect data from existing Modbus devices and exchanges that data with a PROFINET host, allowing legacy serial equipment to join modern PROFINET systems without replacement.

The gateway features a 2 kV isolated serial port, dual redundant DC power inputs and a relay output for fault signalling. A microSD card slot supports configuration backup and duplication, while the rugged compact metal housing is DIN-rail mountable. Embedded traffic monitoring and diagnostic information, together with a web-based console, simplify commissioning and troubleshooting.
