Description

The Moxa MGate 5118-T is a 1-port CAN J1939 protocol gateway that converts J1939 data to Modbus RTU/ASCII/TCP, PROFINET IO device or EtherNet/IP. This -T model is built for harsh environments, operating across a -40 to 75°C wide temperature range in a metal IP30 DIN-rail housing.

The gateway supports Modbus master/client and slave/server modes, EtherNet/IP Scanner and Adapter, and PROFINET IO Device operation, so engine, generator and heavy-equipment data can reach PLCs and SCADA systems over Ethernet. Two 10/100 Ethernet ports allow easy cascading, a web-based wizard simplifies setup, and a microSD slot supports configuration backup and event logging.
