Description

The MGate 5105-MB-EIP-T is a wide-temperature industrial protocol gateway that converts Modbus RTU, ASCII and TCP to EtherNet/IP, with MQTT support for cloud connectivity. It operates across -40 to 75°C, making it suited to outdoor cabinets, factory floors and other harsh environments where serial Modbus devices need to join an EtherNet/IP network.

The gateway combines a 2 kV isolated RS-232/422/485 serial port with two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports with built-in cascading, redundant 12 to 48 VDC power inputs and a metal IP30 housing. It can act as an EtherNet/IP Scanner or Adapter, and a microSD slot supports configuration backup, event logs and data buffering when the cloud connection is lost.
