Description

The Moxa MGate 5105-MB-EIP is a 1-port industrial protocol gateway that converts Modbus RTU/ASCII/TCP to EtherNet/IP, letting serial and Modbus TCP devices communicate with EtherNet/IP networks. It acts as a Modbus master or slave, Modbus TCP client or server, and EtherNet/IP scanner or adapter, and also supports MQTT with TLS for cloud connectivity including Azure IoT Hub and Alibaba IoT Platform. This is the standard 0 to 60°C temperature model.

A DB9 serial port (RS-232/422/485) with 2 kV isolation and dual 10/100 Ethernet ports are housed in a compact metal, IP30, DIN-rail mount enclosure powered from 12 to 48 VDC. A microSD slot supports configuration backup, event logs and data buffering, and built-in traffic monitoring and diagnostics help with troubleshooting.
