Description

The Moxa MGate 5103 is an industrial protocol gateway that converts Modbus RTU/ASCII/TCP or EtherNet/IP to PROFINET. It acts as a Modbus master/client or slave/server, or as an EtherNet/IP adapter, and exchanges data with a PROFINET IO controller as an IO device. This is the standard temperature model rated for 0 to 60°C, suited to control cabinet and factory floor deployments.

The gateway provides two 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet ports with built-in cascading and one RS-232/422/485 serial port with 2 kV isolation. Redundant 12 to 48 VDC power inputs, a relay output and a microSD slot for configuration backup and event logs support reliable operation. The metal IP30 housing is DIN-rail mountable, and configuration is handled through a web-based wizard with GSDML export.
