Description

The MGate 5101-PBM-MN-T is a 1-port industrial protocol gateway that connects a PROFIBUS DP-V1 master to Modbus TCP client or server networks. It suits factory and process automation sites where PROFIBUS devices need to share data with Modbus TCP SCADA, PLC or HMI systems over Ethernet. This -T model operates across a wide -40 to 75°C temperature range, accepts a 12 to 48 VDC power input and provides 2 kV isolation on the PROFIBUS port.

The gateway supports Modbus TCP Client (Master) and Server (Slave) modes, with up to 1536 bytes of input and output data on both the PROFIBUS and Modbus TCP sides. It is housed in a rugged metal IP30 enclosure carrying ATEX, Class I Division 2 and IECEx hazardous location approvals. Configuration is available through a web console, Device Search Utility, MGate Manager or Telnet and serial console, with secure management over HTTPS (TLS 1.3) and SNMPv3.
