Description

The Moxa MGate 4101I-MB-PBS-T is a 1-port industrial Modbus-to-PROFIBUS gateway that converts Modbus RTU/ASCII (master or slave) to a PROFIBUS DP-V0 slave. It adds 2 kV serial isolation and a -40 to 75C wide-temperature rating, making it well suited to harsh factory, process and utility environments where Modbus devices need to join a PROFIBUS network.

The gateway provides one RS-232/422/485 serial port and one PROFIBUS DP-V0 slave port running from 9600 bps to 12 Mbps. It is powered from 12 to 48 VDC, housed in a compact metal enclosure for DIN rail or panel mounting, and configured with a Windows utility that includes automatic I/O mapping to speed up commissioning.
