Description

The MGate 4101-MB-PBS-T is an industrial Modbus to PROFIBUS slave gateway that connects Modbus RTU/ASCII master or slave devices to PROFIBUS DP-V0 PLCs such as Siemens S7-300/400. This -T model runs from a 12 to 48 VDC supply and is rated for -40 to 75°C operation, making it suited to harsh factory, energy and process environments. It is the non-isolated serial variant, with no serial isolation on the RS-232/422/485 port.

The gateway provides one DB9 male serial port and one DB9 female PROFIBUS DP-V0 slave port with built-in 2 kV isolation, supporting PROFIBUS baud rates from 9600 bps to 12 Mbps. A rotary switch handles PROFIBUS addressing, and a metal IP30 housing, relay output and Euroblock power terminal make it practical for control cabinet and DIN-rail style deployments. Hazardous-location approvals include ATEX, Class I Division 2 and IECEx.
