Description

The Moxa MGate 4101-MB-PBS is an industrial Modbus RTU/ASCII to PROFIBUS DP-V0 slave protocol gateway that connects Modbus master or slave devices to PROFIBUS PLC networks such as Siemens S7-300/400. This standard temperature model features a non-isolated serial port, 12 to 48 VDC redundant dual power inputs and an operating range of 0 to 60°C.

It offers one RS-232/422/485 serial port (DB9 male) and one PROFIBUS port (DB9 female) with 2 kV built-in isolation, running from 9600 bps up to 12 Mbps. A rugged IP30 metal housing with DIN-rail mounting, a relay output and the MGate Manager utility with QuickLink automatic configuration make it well suited to control cabinets and factory automation retrofits.
