Description

The ioPAC 8600-CPU30-RJ45-IEC-T is a rugged modular controller CPU module built around a 32-bit 1 GHz Cortex-A8 processor running real-time Linux (PREEMPTRT). It provides two 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 Ethernet ports and is programmed with IEC 61131-3 control logic, making it suited to industrial automation, rail and other demanding deployments where -40 to 75°C operation is required.

This CPU module is part of the modular ioPAC 8600 platform and must be paired with a separate backplane (BM005, BM009 or BM012), a PW10 power module and I/O modules. It includes 512 MB of SDRAM, onboard eMMC storage and a microSD slot for expansion, supports Modbus TCP client and server alongside Modbus RTU/ASCII, and carries railway (EN 50121-4, EN 50155) and UL 508 approvals.
