Description

The Moxa ICF-1180I-M-ST is an industrial PROFIBUS-to-fiber converter that carries PROFIBUS DP signals from a DB9 copper port over multi-mode fibre with an ST connector, extending transmission distance up to 4 km. It auto-detects baud rates from 9600 bps to 12 Mbps, includes 2 kV built-in isolation, and suits factory automation and process control networks that need longer runs or better noise immunity.

This multi-mode ST model operates across a standard 0 to 60°C range and is housed in a rugged metal IP30 enclosure. Dual 12 to 48 VDC power inputs support redundant power, while fibre link monitoring, signal intensity diagnosis and a relay output for warnings and alerts help maintenance teams catch problems early. It mounts on a wall or on DIN-rail with the optional kit.
