Description

The Moxa DA-820E-C5-LL-T is a 3U IEC 61850-3 rackmount computer built for power-substation automation, powered by a 13th Gen Intel Core i5-1340PE processor with Intel Iris Xe Graphics. It ships with two hot-swappable DA-PWR-120-LV (48 VDC) power modules and operates from -40 to 70°C, making it suited to harsh utility and railway wayside deployments. It complies with IEC 61850-3, IEEE 1613 and IEC 60255.

I/O includes 4 x Gigabit Ethernet ports, 2 x software-selectable RS-232/422/485 serial ports, 6 DI and 2 DO channels, 3 x USB 3.0 and 3 x USB 2.0 ports, plus dual HDMI and VGA video output. Storage options cover four 2.5-inch HDD/SSD slots and an M.2 M-key slot, with up to 64 GB DDR4 memory. One PCIe x8 (4-lane) slot and three PCIe x1 slots allow expansion modules, including PRP/HSR redundancy. Additional modules are sold separately and are required for the system to function.
