Description

The EDS-405A-SS-SC-T is an entry-level managed industrial Ethernet switch with 3 x 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports and 2 x 100BaseFX single-mode SC fibre ports with a typical reach of 40 km. Rated for -40 to 75°C operation, it suits harsh industrial environments such as factory floors, transport infrastructure and outdoor cabinets where long-distance fibre uplinks are required.

Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain redundancy keep the network resilient, while redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC power inputs and a relay alarm output support dependable operation. The rugged IP30 metal housing mounts on a DIN rail, and the switch supports up to 64 VLANs and 256 IGMP groups for traffic segmentation and multicast control.
