Description

The Moxa MGate MB3270I-T is a rugged 2-port Modbus TCP gateway that converts between Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU/ASCII, linking serial devices to Ethernet networks in industrial environments. It provides two software-selectable RS-232/422/485 serial ports with 2 kV serial isolation and a -40 to 75°C wide operating temperature range, making it suited to harsh sites such as factory floors, outdoor cabinets and energy installations.

Built-in Ethernet cascading with two RJ45 ports simplifies wiring, while support for up to 32 Modbus TCP client and 32 server connections handles demanding mixed-protocol deployments. Emergency request tunnels help maintain QoS, embedded Modbus traffic monitoring speeds up troubleshooting, and configuration is available through a web console, MGate Manager or the Device Search Utility. Security features include SNMPv3 and HTTPS (TLS 1.2).
