Description

The Moxa EDS-518E-4GTXSFP is a managed Layer 2 industrial Ethernet switch from the EDS-500E range, built with 14 Fast Ethernet ports and 4 Gigabit combo ports that accept either TP copper or SFP fibre. It suits factory automation, process control and other industrial networks that need a mix of device-level Fast Ethernet connections and high-speed Gigabit uplinks.

The four combo ports let you choose copper or fibre per port, so the same switch can serve short copper runs or longer fibre backbones. The -10 to 60C operating temperature range supports installation in enclosures and control cabinets where ambient conditions are demanding.
