Description

The Eaton 9PX1000RT is an online double-conversion 2U rack/tower UPS rated 1000VA/900W at 120V, delivering true sine wave output to protect servers, network equipment and storage from outages, sags and surges. It provides eight NEMA 5-15R outlets from a 5-15P input plug, and ships with a rack-mount kit and tower stands so it can be installed in a 2U rack space or stood upright.

Hot-swappable internal batteries and ABM three-stage charging help extend battery service life and give advance warning for replacement. Runtime can be extended with up to four optional 9PXEBM36RT extended battery modules, and the Mini-Slot supports optional network, industrial gateway and relay cards. A graphical LCD with a five-button menu shows real-time load information, and the unit works with the Intelligent Power Software Suite for file saves and safe shutdown.

Q: What is the input plug and outlet type on the 9PX1000RT?
A: It has a 5-15P input plug and eight 5-15R output receptacles, with the outlets arranged in switched banks for load shedding.

Q: Can the runtime be extended?
A: Yes. Up to four 9PXEBM36RT extended battery modules can be connected to increase runtime beyond the 6 minutes available at full load from the internal batteries.

Q: Can it be mounted in a rack or used as a tower?
A: Yes. It is a 2U unit supplied with a rack-mount kit and tower stands, so it can be installed in a rack or stood upright.

Q: Can I add network management to this UPS?
A: Yes. The Mini-Slot accepts optional NETWORK-M3, INDGW-M2 and RELAY-MS cards. The NETWORK-M3 provides Gigabit network connectivity for remote monitoring and control.

Q: What is the nominal output voltage?
A: The default output is 120V, with 100, 110 and 125V selectable. This is a 120V model with a 5-15P plug.

Q: Are the batteries user-replaceable?
A: Yes. The internal VRLA batteries and extended battery modules are hot-swappable. The replacement battery pack is part number EBP-1611.
