FAQs

Q: Does the JL320A include a power supply?
A: No. This model ships without power supplies. The Aruba JL086A (450 W) or JL087A (810 W) modular power supplies are ordered separately and determine the available PoE budget.

Q: What is the maximum PoE+ budget?
A: The PoE+ budget reaches up to 1440 W when two power supplies are fitted. Each port can deliver up to 30 W under IEEE 802.3at.

Q: Does the switch support Layer 3 routing?
A: Yes. It supports static, RIP and Access OSPF routing.

Q: Can the JL320A be stacked?
A: Yes. It has a stacking module slot providing 100 Gbps stacking with up to 10 members in a ring topology, managed as a single virtual chassis.

Q: What uplink options are available?
A: The modular uplink slot accepts 10GbE or 40GbE modules. The unit also has four dual-personality ports that operate as 10/100/1000BASE-T PoE+ or 100/1000 SFP.

Q: How can the switch be managed?
A: Management is available through Aruba Central, AirWave, IMC, CLI, a web browser, SNMP, Telnet and RMON1, plus out-of-band serial or micro USB access.
